Jessica Hussar Boyle, PsyD, LP, NCSP

Biography

Dr. Hussar Boyle is the owner of Confluence Children and Family Psychology, PLLC, as well as, an independent practitioner of child psychology. Dr. Hussar Boyle currently offers psychological diagnostic evaluations, IEEs for school districts, consultation/professional development, advocacy services for families and school districts and SPACE Treatment for childhood anxiety. Dr. Hussar Boyle works with children school-age through college-age. She has a particular interest in childhood neurodevelopmental disorders. She specializes in diagnosis and treatment of Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Developmental Disorders, Autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and behavioral disorders. 

Dr. Hussar Boyle earned her MA/CAS and PsyD in School Psychology from Alfred University. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology from the University at Albany. Dr. Hussar Boyle is a NYS Licensed Psychologist, a NYS Permanently Certified School Psychologist, and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She has practiced school psychology for over 10 years at all levels from Pre-K through High School in both urban and rural school districts. 

Dr. Hussar Boyle's Masters/Specialist and Pre-Doctoral internships were both in public school settings. She also completed clinical work in a community mental health setting and a university mental health clinic while in graduate school. In addition Dr. Hussar Boyle has served as a part-time Accessibility Specialist for the Accessibility Resources Office (ARO) at SUNY Broome. She is also a board member of the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP).

Dr. Hussar Boyle is currently an adjunct instructor at SUNY Broome and Binghamton University. She has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses, including, General Psychology, Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Communication and Counseling Skills, and Foundations of School Psychology. She is also contracted with Children's Therapy Network to conduct Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) Evaluations. 

Her professional interests include neurodevelopmental disorders, child psychology,  organizational and systems level change initiatives, MTSS, and mentoring and supervision. 

Dr. Hussar Boyle is a trained SPACE Treatment provider.  SPACE is a treatment focused on reducing childhood anxiety by working with and through parents to reduce accommodations they make for their child's anxiety. Visit the SPACE Treatment website to learn more. 

Dr. Hussar Boyle does not currently accept insurance. Her practice is private pay only. Superbills that the client can submit to their insurance company for potential Out of Network (OON) reimbursement can be provided upon request.
